Juchitan de Zaragoza, Oaxaca. - Due to the high number of active cases in the municipality of San Pedro Pochutla, in the Costa region, the municipal authority issued new restrictive measures in order to reduce the impact of the so-called fourth wave of Covid-19 and its variants, among which that highlight the suspension of the Nudist Festival on Zipolite beach.

After assessing that San Pedro Pochutla has 32 active cases of Covid-19 and that in a single day it reported 11 new cases, the Cabildo reached an agreement to suspend all massive acts, including the fairs and parties that mark February 5, as well as the Seventh Nudist Festival in Zipolite, which was scheduled from February 4 to 7.

This decision was made in session by the Cabildo, after considering the exhortation made by the state government, through the Ministry of Health, so that massive events are not carried out, since there are no sanitary conditions for it.
