A little about Playa Zipolite, The Beach of the Dead . . .

Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean. A little bit about my favorite little get-away on this small world of ours.

Zipolite, a sweaty 30-minute walk west from Puerto Angel, brings you to Playa Zipolite and another world. The feeling here is 1970's - Led Zep, Marley, and scruffy gringos.

A long, long time ago, Zipolite beach was usually visited by the Zapotecans...who made it a magical place. They came to visit Zipolite to meditate, or just to rest.

Recently, this beach has begun to receive day-trippers from Puerto Angel and Puerto Escondido, giving it a more TOURISTY feel than before.

Most people come here for the novelty of the nude beach, yoga, turtles, seafood, surf, meditation, vegetarians, discos, party, to get burnt by the sun, or to see how long they can stretch their skinny budget.

aloha dance tribe We want to invite you to a new AbunDANCE event in the beautiful and safe space at CAMP in Zipolite, on Wednesday 7-9-22. The door will open at 3pm, before starting the cocoa circle you can make use of the natural pool, the sauna or try some of the delicious tapas and rich elixir potions that are available during the event. Doors will close at 4pm, please be on time as we want to open the space and our hearts with the medicine of cacao. Creating a subtle space to explore our inner child. Cocoa medicine will be served by Domingo, accompanied by the delicious voice of Monique Renee. Later, when our hearts are synchronized by the medicine songs, Flor will guide us on a deep journey through the elements within us with blindfolded eyes and the live music of Ludwig. We will continue with Bloom Dance dj set offered by Sunday. The circle will close around 8pm giving us time until 9pm to relax and make use of the space at CAMP. event guidelines - drug and alcohol free - no shoes or sandals - do not talk in the dance room - smoking in designated areas - do not park at the entrance of the building - drinking water available - if you can bring your own cup for cocoa Come co-create this magical afternoon with Alchemy of Movement, to nourish your soul and awaken the child within us. Queremos invitarte a un nuevo evento de AbunDANCE en el lindo y seguro espacio en CAMP en Zipolite, el Miércoles 7-9-22.
La puerta se abrira a las 3pm, antes de empezar el circulo de cacao puedes hacer uso de la piscina natural, la sauna o probar alguna de las deliosas tapas y las ricas pociones de elixir que estran disponibles durante el evento.
Las puertas cerraran a las 4pm, por favor llega a tiempo, ya que queremos abrir el espacio y nuestros corazones con la medicina del cacao. Creando un espacio sutil para explorar nuestro niño imterno.
Medicina cacao sera sevido por Domingo, acompañado con la deliciosa voz de Monique Renee. Despues, cuando nuestros corazones esten sincronizados pornlas canciones medicina, Flor nos guiará a un profundo viaje por los elementos a nuestro interior con ojos vendados y la musica en vivo de Ludwig.
Seguiremos con Bloom Dance dj set ofrecido por Domingo.
El circulo cerrara sobre las 8pm dandonos asi tiempo hasta ls 9pm para relajarnos y hacer uso del espacio en CAMP.
Evento pautas
- libre de drogas y alcohol
- no zapatos o sandalias
- no hablar en la sala de baile
- fumar en zonas designadas
- no aparcar en la entrada del edificio
- agua potable disponible
- si puedes trae tu propia taza para el cacao
