A little about Playa Zipolite, The Beach of the Dead . . .

Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean. A little bit about my favorite little get-away on this small world of ours.

Zipolite, a sweaty 30-minute walk west from Puerto Angel, brings you to Playa Zipolite and another world. The feeling here is 1970's - Led Zep, Marley, and scruffy gringos.

A long, long time ago, Zipolite beach was usually visited by the Zapotecans...who made it a magical place. They came to visit Zipolite to meditate, or just to rest.

Recently, this beach has begun to receive day-trippers from Puerto Angel and Puerto Escondido, giving it a more TOURISTY feel than before.

Most people come here for the novelty of the nude beach, yoga, turtles, seafood, surf, meditation, vegetarians, discos, party, to get burnt by the sun, or to see how long they can stretch their skinny budget.

I post WWW Oaxaca, Mexico, Zipolite and areas nearby information. Also general budget, backpacker, surfer, off the beaten path, Mexico and beyond, information.

REMEMBER: Everyone is welcome at Zipolite.

Paul McCartney & Wings - Little Lamb Dragonfly (1973) (DDC Gold) [1080p HD] ~MetalGuruMessiah

[Video #147] from http://www.youtube.com/user/MetalGuruMessiah the address for MetalGuruMessiah's Musical Paint Box! Check out my other videos!

Paul McCartney released Red Rose Speedway in the spring of 1973. This was Paul's 2nd album with his new band, Wings. He'd previously released his first solo album billed simply McCartney and then his 2nd album (Ram) billed to Paul & Linda McCartney and then his first album album billed to Paul McCartney & Wings, Wildlife.....but I like to keep it simple with Paul....this is his 4th solo record period (only Denny Laine's contributions come close to deserving recognition as anything other than Paul....and of course to even come close with McCartney was a serious achievement!).

What can you say about McCartney's albums? I'll simply repeat what I've stated in descriptions for other videos.....every single album he ever recorded was special, there were the inevitable hits (except for Wildlife...and there should have been one or two?) and then there were some throwaways, but there were always several underrated gems...but it was all McCartney! ....and that's what made each one special.

"Little Lamb Dragonfly" was one of two tunes originally recorded during the Ram sessions (the other being "Get On The Right Thing") that was eventually released on the Red Rose Speedway album.....yeah, this song really sounds like it belongs on Ram to me!

I stumbled into the video for "Little Lamb Dragonfly" by pure accident as I was searching images for George Harrison's "Mystical One", I came across a dragonfly image and immediately realized I could do a quick video for this song. This tune might not be my favorite from Red Rose Speedway, and I always think of doing "When The Night" or "Single Pigeon" whenever I think of this album, but it's a really one of those tunes that only Paul McCartney could ever have produced.....happy to give it a shot. (As I was messing with this one, I thought of a concept and realized that I might be able to do something with the structured & sectioned rhythm of "Medley: Hold Me Tight/Lazy Dynamite/Hands of Love/Power Cut", saved the album art to incorporate into that one later....till then, as usual, hope you enjoy the effort.

Special thanks:

I Have No Answer For You Little Lamb
I Can Help You Out / But I Cannot Help You In
Sometimes You Think That Life Is Hard
And This Is Only One Of Them
My Heart Is Breaking For You Little Lamb
I Can Help You Out / But We May Never Meet Again
La La La La La La La La ... Etc.

Dragonfly Fly By My Window
You And I Still Have A Way To Go
Don't Know Why You Hang Around My Door
I Don't Live Here Any More
Since You've Gone I Never Know
I Go On, But I Miss You So

Dragonfly Don't Keep Me Waiting
I'm Waiting Can't You See Me I'm Waiting
When We Try We'll Have A Way To Go
Dragonfly You've Been Away Too Long
How Did Two Rights Make A Wrong
Since You've Gone I Never Know I Go On
But I Miss You So In My Heart
I Feel The Pain
Keeps Coming Back Again

Dragonfly Fly By My Window
I'm Flying Can't You See Me I'm Flying
You And I Can Find A Way To See
Dragonfly The Years Ahead Will Show
How Little We Really Know
Since You've Gone Its Never Right They Go On
The Lonely Nights, Come On Home
And Make It Right

My Heart Is Aching For You Little Lamb
I Can Help You Out / But I Cannot Help You In
