A little about Playa Zipolite, The Beach of the Dead . . .

Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean. A little bit about my favorite little get-away on this small world of ours.

Zipolite, a sweaty 30-minute walk west from Puerto Angel, brings you to Playa Zipolite and another world. The feeling here is 1970's - Led Zep, Marley, and scruffy gringos.

A long, long time ago, Zipolite beach was usually visited by the Zapotecans...who made it a magical place. They came to visit Zipolite to meditate, or just to rest.

Recently, this beach has begun to receive day-trippers from Puerto Angel and Puerto Escondido, giving it a more TOURISTY feel than before.

Most people come here for the novelty of the nude beach, yoga, turtles, seafood, surf, meditation, vegetarians, discos, party, to get burnt by the sun, or to see how long they can stretch their skinny budget.

THE 9 BAYS OF HUATULCO

Huatulco is known for many tourist attractions with which account, but, without doubt, what most characterizes this great tourist destination in Mexico are its 9 bays of Huatulco make a very unique and sought after by many domestic and foreign to enjoy a nice holiday in one of its 9 bays of Huatulco.
Tangolunda Bay 
This bay is characterized by having a large variety of hotels and 5 star gran turismo. In the calm waters of this bay you can perform various water activities like kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, aquamotos feel the speed or the tranquility of a sailboat.
Chahue Bay
in Huatulco Bay has a wide variety of food businesses with regional dishes you should try. The Bay also has among its attractions with a yacht marina and a beach club with all amenities. You will also find the place known as "little cross" a restaurateur and commercial place where you will also find sites for your enjoyment.
Bay of Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz Bay is considered the main Huatulco Bay and is where most go Tours to visit the other bays, in addition to the cruise ship pier, which helps a lot to the growth of the economy Huatulco, since it receives annually about 50 cruise ships a year. This Huatulco Bay also has a series of tourist-oriented shops and fun. If you enjoy sun, sand and sea, this bay will find the beach of Delivery, and Punta Santa Cruz Yerbabuena.
Conejos Bay
Huatulco always seeks to offer the best and most attractive places for tourists and Conejos Bay is no exception, the Huatulco Bay has beautiful beaches such as Playa Punta Arena and rabbits, horse riding activities such as enjoying the refreshing sea breeze, diving or snorkeling.
Maguey Bay

Cacaluta Bay
Cacaluta Bay is ideal if you like to see the natural beauty, as in this Huatulco Bay you will find Zanate Laguna where you can observe different types of birds make their migration every year. This bay is also popular for having been the scene of the film "Y Tu Mama Tambien."
San Agustin Bay
Bay in Huatulco This is ideal for snorkelers as it has an extensive oral area ideal for watching various types of marine life. This bay, like most in Huatulco, with unique natural beauty that will make you forget all your earrings and relax to enjoy your vacation.
Chachacual Bay
If you want to spend the day on a beach unspoilt Chachacual Bay is your place. The Bay in Huatulco is listed as an ecological reserve of great natural beauty. This bay has two completely quiet beaches, India and Chachacual beach, these beaches are fine white sand and crystal are very warm water.
Organo Bay
This bay is formed of a virgin beach with moderate waves, warm water and fine white sand. The only way to reach this bay is by boat and holiday season there are small shops for the sale of seafood and refreshments. Undoubtedly one in Huatulco Bay where you can forget about everything.
