We invite you to the waistline workshop this Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 !!!!.... $150 per class You will learn how to craft and assemble a weave, as well as the use of natural dyes.. La invención del textil y el material para producirlo, es hasta hoy una proeza del ser humano; sus creaciones hablan de sus vidas, destinos y sueños. De ahí que no sólo tengan un valor económico, cada pieza carga un valor histórico, político y cultural.
En la tarea de hacer visible la identidad textil de México y América Latina, es para mi un placer brindar, a través de la práctica del TELAR DE CINTURA, un reflejo de resistencia que se vive en los pueblos originarios; un textil representa la lucha, la cultura, la rebelión y para ello hay que seguir TEJIENDO LA REBELDÍA!!!!
