. We found a nice spot in a little cove away from most of the nakedness!! There was a beach bar/restaurant right on the beach where we enjoyed lunch and cocktails :-) unfortunately you couldn t swim in the water here as the waves and currents were powerful, however it was fun watching the surfers battling with the waves and going in to waist height to cool down. Another day we headed to the next village called San Augustillo where we could swim. We had planned to surf but no one was out in the water and there didn t seem to be any rental places about, probably because it was nearing the low season. We were happy with where we were staying, San Augustillo didn t seem to have much about it being built for holiday makers rather than people living there. The waves were big though and it was fun trying to body surf them.
We were glad we ventured down the coast to experience the more local side of the Pacific. With a beautiful coastline and accommodation it made us reluctant to leave....
