A little about Playa Zipolite, The Beach of the Dead . . .

Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean. A little bit about my favorite little get-away on this small world of ours.

Zipolite, a sweaty 30-minute walk west from Puerto Angel, brings you to Playa Zipolite and another world. The feeling here is 1970's - Led Zep, Marley, and scruffy gringos.

A long, long time ago, Zipolite beach was usually visited by the Zapotecans...who made it a magical place. They came to visit Zipolite to meditate, or just to rest.

Recently, this beach has begun to receive day-trippers from Puerto Angel and Puerto Escondido, giving it a more TOURISTY feel than before.

Most people come here for the novelty of the nude beach, yoga, turtles, seafood, surf, meditation, vegetarians, discos, party, to get burnt by the sun, or to see how long they can stretch their skinny budget.

First of all, their enchiladas suizas, the restaurant's star breakfast, with its delicious and smooth green sauce that has a special seasoning. In second place, their whiting, a typical dish from the coast that they have perfected and that you can now enjoy by the sea. •𝕏𝕙𝕚𝕟 ℕ𝕚𝕥• (ℌ𝔦𝔧𝔞 𝔡𝔢𝔩 𝔞𝔤𝔲𝔞) Dear people, with much love and joy I share with you my most recent and much-loved intervention in collaboration with @comunidadnit in which I painted a little whale that is made up of terrestrial elements such as flowers, deer, birds, peyotitos, and mushrooms, among others, thinking about the diversity of species that inhabit the earth, water, wind and fire, forming the great unit in which we are all important to generate and regenerate the cycle of life. In this project I painted this recyclable waste container that will be located on Zicatela beach, Puerto escondido Oaxaca in order to generate a visible point to deposit materials such as PET, aluminum and paper. Said container will have a guardian or guardian who will be a person from the town who will be in charge of the shelter and storage of the container and will receive the monetary profits from the sale of the waste collected in this clean point. I really loved this project and learned a lot in the process. Thanks to everyone who supported me to make this magic possible. ✨🐋💖🌕✴️🩵⚡🍓🌸🐝🌅🌊☄️🌎✨♻️

Queridxs, con mucho cariño y alegría les comparto mi más reciente y muy amada intervención en colaboración con @comunidadnit en la cuál pinte una ballenita que está constituida por elementos terrestres como flores, venados, aves, peyotitos y hongos entre otros pensando en la diversidad de especies que habitamos la tierra, el agua, el viento y el fuego conformando la gran unidad en la que todos somos importantes para generar y regenerar el ciclo de la vida.
En este proyecto pinte este contenedor de residuos reciclables que será ubicado en la playa Zicatela, Puerto escondido Oaxaca con la finalidad de generar un punto visible para depositar materiales como PET, aluminio y papel. Dicho contenedor tendrá un guardian o guardiana que será una persona de la localidad quien se encargara del resguado y almacenamiento del contenedor y recibirá las ganancias monetarias de la venta de los reciduos recolectados en este punto limpio.
Ame mucho este proyecto y aprendí muchísimo en el proceso. Gracias a todxs quienes me apoyaron para hacer posible está magia.
