Whats up there steemians!

Zipolite is a small nude beach located in Oaxaca state in Mexico. I remember the first time I get to this place I couldn't believe it, the pacific ocean is majestic, the vibe around is so strong, is a place where locals and tourists live in harmony, the fact is a nude beach makes people less judgmental and more open. Such a freedom in this place. I love it!
You wake up in the morning, open the window and breathe fresh air coming from the ocean, get your bikini ready and go to the restaurant on the beach to have an amazing cheap breakfast, because just to let you know guys most of the hotels/cabins are on the beach (there are other ones in the only main street), how awesome!
Also if you are into smoking the natural green here is permitted in some places. Meditation, Yoga, temazcal, amazing people, it's all here.
This place is for real the place to be if you are looking for some quiet but valuable time to find yourself and enjoy with others.

Zipolite es una pequeña playa nudista localizada en el Estado de Oaxaca, México. Recuerdo la primera vez que llegue a este lugar no lo podía creer, el océano pacífico es super hermoso, ola enormes y color azul fuerte, la vibra en este lugar es super fuerte, es un lugar en donde locales y turistas viven en armonía unos con los otros, el hecho de que sea una playa nudista ha hecho a alas personas que viven aquí menos juzgonas y más abiertas. Es una libertad tremenda, neta me encanta!
Te despiertas en la mañana, pones tu traje de baño y te vas directo al restaurante que además de estar en la playa tiene unos desayunos riquísimos y nada caros, hay muchos más lugares en la única calle principal para comer sin embargo muchos hoteles, hostales y restaurantes están en la orilla de la playa. Esta de huevos!
Si te gusta fumarte un porrito es permitido en ciertos lugares, obvio siempre con respeto hacia otras personas. Hay clases y lugares de meditación, yoga, temazcales. Gente hermosa abunda en este lugar y no me refiero físicamente.
Este lugar está hecho para que pases un tiempo valioso contigo mismo y con otros. Es un paraíso.!

Eighteen-year-old Mexican surfer Jhony Corzo was crowned the men’s world champion surfer yesterday at the World Surfing Games in Biarritz, France.

It was the first-ever individual medal for Team Mexico, and propelled the team itself to its first-ever medal, winning copper for fourth place overall.

“It’s an amazing feeling to be crowned world champion!” said Corzo after his win. “I don’t have words for it.

“This is something that I wanted ever since I was young and started surfing,” said the native of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, home of Zicatela Beach, one of the world’s top-10 surfing destinations.

It was Corzo’s first trip to the International Surfing Association (ISA) World Surfing Games, which drew surfers from 47 countries.

The ISA is recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the world’s governing authority for surfing.

Corzo began surfing at the age of five, encouraged by his father, and later influenced by two brothers and a cousin who are also surfers.

One of Mexico's Best Kept Secrets

Mexico is home to so many diverse wonders - canyons, deserts, rainforest, cities and, of course, beaches. One of the country's most fabulous beaches is tiny Zipolite on the Oaxacan coast. But it's not your typical head- pounding, hard-drinking, over-visited playground.

Hard to reach (although now there are flights to nearby Puerto Escondido) and easy to miss as one drives along this stretch of coast, Zipolite, Mazunte and Puerto Angel seem to have somehow avoided the droves of tourists that tend to frequent so many of Mexico's beaches.

Lucky for us. Golden sand and pounding surf, Zipolite has just the right amount of food options and things to do. There's a yoga studio on the far east end and a nudist stretch to the far west. Accommodations are mainly hammocks right on the beach, but there are a couple of more upscale options as well.

And life is simple. The pace is slow, just as it should be, with no noisy toys - jet skis or motor boats. It's a place to just hang out, relax, soak in the the rays, as well as the abundant serenity.

New flights to five Mexican destinations from four US cities

The Aeroméxico-Delta Air Lines joint venture will bring new Aeroméxico flights to five Mexican destinations starting next fall.

Daily service between León, Guanajuato, and Los Angeles will begin October 1 while service on the other four routes will begin November 1.

Those four will connect Atlanta with Mérida, Yucatán, and Querétaro and Mexico City with Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.

The Atlanta-Mérida and Mexico City-Portland routes are still subject to government approval.

Aeroméxico will operate Boeing 737-800s on the Mexico City routes and Embraer 190s on the others.

Alaska Airlines has received United States Department of Transport approval for new daily round-trip service to Mexico City from three cities in California.

Flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco are expected to begin August 8 while on November 6 service will begin from San Diego and a second Los Angeles flight will be added.

The flights await approval by Mexican authorities but the airline expects that to come soon and reservations are now being taken. The airline will use Boeing 737 and Embraer E175 aircraft for the routes.

Those routes were described as propitious for California tourism leaders today in a report by the San Diego Union-Tribune as an extra effort is being made to woo Mexican travelers in the face of strained relations between Mexico and the U.S. since President Donald Trump took office.

A delegation of California tourism representatives will travel to Mexico City next week to promote the state.

Alaska obtained new slots at the Mexico City airport as a result of the Aeroméxico-Delta Air Lines joint venture, which was approved on condition that they surrender slots.

Six gold medals won at the Brussels World Wine Competition

Mexican wineries submitted 18 wines to the Brussels World Wine Competition and came home with 18 medals, six of them gold.

The 2017 edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles attracted 9,080 entries from 50 countries competing for grand gold, gold and silver medals.

A panel of 320 international judges — journalists, buyers, oncologists and sommeliers — gave Spanish wines the highest number of medals, followed by France, Italy, Portugal and Chile. Another country in the top 10 was China, which doubled its medal count this year.

The gold medal-winning Mexican wines were:

• Casa Grande Chardonnay 2016, Parras Valley, Coahuila;

• Casa Madero Chardonnay 2016, Parras Valley, Coahuila;

• Casta Tinta Syrah 2014, Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California;

• Duetto 2011 (Santo Tomás), Baja Calfornia;

• Hilo Negro ZigZag 2014, Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California;

• Solera Blanco (Santo Tomás), Valle de Santo Tomás, Baja California.

Mexico’s silver medal winners:

• Cardón 2014, Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California;

• Casa Grande Shiraz 2013, Parras Valley, Coahuila;

• Casta Blanca 2016, Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California;

The annual competition, which describes itself as the United Nations of Fine Wines, was held earlier this month in the city of Valladolid, Spain, in the heart of the winemaking Castilla y León region.

Next year it moves to Beijing, China.
