Villa de Serenidad - Step through the front entry to a view of the spacious, open interior; on to the pool area and beyond to the beautiful Pacific ocean. Leave your cares at the door and sink into this custom resort villa for an experience to treasure.
Bring the whole family or your closest friends. Villa de Serenidad has 6 enclosed bedrooms each with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. The 2 master suites (one upstairs, one downstairs) both have a king-sized bed and 2 sofas in the sitting area. Upstairs suite has a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The 4 other guestrooms have 2 queen-sized beds and a sofa in each.
The grand gathering area under the gorgeous hand-crafted palapa, has enough seating for the whole group and a custom dining table that seats 14. There's also an outdoor kitchen table that seats 10. Watch the activites at the pool from the family room area, or sit comfortably under the shade area near the wading pool (child friendly 2 ft. deep). Then take a walk on the beach to a secluded lagoon just minutes away or watch the waves for whales, dolphins, rays and turtles.
On the second floor you will find the "Sunset Lounge." Enjoy the daytime ocean breeze and evening mountain breeze from this covered palapa area. One of the few homes in the area with 2nd story living, it has a bar, more comfortable seating and an unlimited view of the pool, ocean and mountains. You'll never forget the sunsets at Villa de Serenidad. For the stargazers, there's even a third floor getaway just for you!
At Villa de Serenidad you can relax with the year-round, on site housekeeping staff (seperate private quarters, spanish-speaking). They will cook, clean and shop. Do as much as you like or as little. If cooking is your passion enjoy the spacious gourmet kitchen stocked with all the tools of the trade and a view of the mountains and ocean. The kitchen can be closed and has air conditioning. There's also an enclosed, air-conditioned media room where you can watch DVDs on the TV and use the WiFi. Two can sleep comfortably on the sofas if needed.
Villa de Serenidad is located about 20 minutes from the Puerto Escondido Airport just of the highway in the safe, secluded La Parota neighborhood. Close enough to the city and Zicatela Beach to enjoy all they have to offer with the vehicle and driver provided. This Villa is grand enough to enjoy the whole gang all together, or sneak away to a quiet nook to relax by yourself.

Housekeepers Ismael and Criscencia are husband and wife who live on the property full-time in seperate quarters. They will cook, clean and maintain the property on a daily basis. Criscencia will do laundry if you ask. They speak very little English but still manage to meet all our needs with professionalism and a smile.
