A little about Playa Zipolite, The Beach of the Dead . . .
Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean. A little bit about my favorite little get-away on this small world of ours.Zipolite, a sweaty 30-minute walk west from Puerto Angel, brings you to Playa Zipolite and another world. The feeling here is 1970's - Led Zep, Marley, and scruffy gringos.A long, long time ago, Zipolite beach was usually visited by the Zapotecans...who made it a magical place. They came to visit Zipolite to meditate, or just to rest.Recently, this beach has begun to receive day-trippers from Puerto Angel and Puerto Escondido, giving it a more TOURISTY feel than before. Most people come here for the novelty of the nude beach, yoga, turtles, seafood, surf, meditation, vegetarians, discos, party, to get burnt by the sun, or to see how long they can stretch their skinny budget.I post WWW Oaxaca, Mexico, Zipolite and areas nearby information. Also general budget, backpacker, surfer, off the beaten path, Mexico and beyond, information.REMEMBER: Everyone is welcome at Zipolite.ivan

Nomadic Matt's Travel Tuesday
Greetings from NYC! Fall is in full swing and I am loving it. I'm in the middle of planning my trip to Peru and getting the final edits of my next book done. Other than that, there's not much going on.
This week, I simply wanted to remind everyone about our upcoming events (we have FOUR events coming up!) as well as some recent article updates.
Here are the events:

They'll join us to share everything you need about annual travel insurance! The event is on October 29th at 12pm ET. You can sign up here. (It's free!)
How to Boost Your Affiliate Revenue with Stay22 - If you're a blogger or travel creator, affiliate income is an important part of your passive income. In this webinar, I'll be sitting down with Stay22 to learn what they do, how they work, and how they can help you earn more money from your affiliate links. Stay22 has helped me earn around 30% more from my affiliate links. They can help you do the same! The webinar is on November 5th at 12pm ET. You can sign up here. (It's free!)
An Insider's Guide to NYC: How to Plan an Epic Visit - New York City is one of the most popular destinations in the world. It's a special place, and there is a lot to do here. I've been living in NYC for years and, in this webinar, I'll help you plan an epic visit to the Big Apple by showing you where to go beyond the highlights — and how to save money when you visit (because NYC can get pricey!). The event is on November 12th. You can sign up here.
Demystifying Cheap Flights: How to ALWAYS Find the Best Deal - Whether you’re a budget solo traveler or a family looking to vacation abroad, finding a cheap flight deal can be what makes or breaks your ability to travel. In this webinar, we'll be sharing all the best tips and tricks to help you ALWAYS find the best deal. The event is on November 19th. You can sign up here.
Note: Everyone who signs up for a webinar gets a recording so be sure to register even if you can't attend!
