Hola my Mexico-loving friends! High season is over, and hot season has begun. May in Mexico is great if you don't mind higher temperatures, because most snow birds have left and the wet season hasn't quite begun. It's a brief period of time at the beaches and even inland around Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Oaxaca, where you can enjoy a quieter, slightly cheaper experience without worrying about the weather (unless you don't want to be melting in 85 degree days).
