Dolphin found dead on the beach of Zipolite
A dolphin more than two meters long was found dead off the beaches of Zipolite on the Oaxacan coast and was returned to the sea after learning the authorities of the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection and Ministry of the Navy.
The report indicates that during the morning of Thursday, fishermen were warned that a dolphin who was at the beach, so they asked for help from lifeguards to return to the sea, as happened with another dolphin in Puerto Escondido.
However, in trying to help him they confirmed that he was dead and so gave intervention to the Attorney General for Environmental Protection and the authorities responsible for overseeing the Oaxacan coast.
After analyzing the remains of the dauphin, afternoon fishermen and salvavidades decided to return it to the sea to be fish food.
The investigation is continuing in order to establish which was the cause of death of the dauphin, to other similar cases occur.
