A little about Playa Zipolite, The Beach of the Dead . . .

Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean. A little bit about my favorite little get-away on this small world of ours.

Zipolite, a sweaty 30-minute walk west from Puerto Angel, brings you to Playa Zipolite and another world. The feeling here is 1970's - Led Zep, Marley, and scruffy gringos.

A long, long time ago, Zipolite beach was usually visited by the Zapotecans...who made it a magical place. They came to visit Zipolite to meditate, or just to rest.

Recently, this beach has begun to receive day-trippers from Puerto Angel and Puerto Escondido, giving it a more TOURISTY feel than before.

Most people come here for the novelty of the nude beach, yoga, turtles, seafood, surf, meditation, vegetarians, discos, party, to get burnt by the sun, or to see how long they can stretch their skinny budget.

Tropical depression Trudy remains "parked" in the state of Guerrero, bringing torrential rains in the entity and Oaxaca, along with a large area of cloud that spans several southern states and the center.  
"At 19:00, while the center of the country, the tropical depression Trudy was located 40 km south-southeast of Tlapa, Guerrero and 150 miles east-northeast of Acapulco, Guerrero, with maximum sustained winds of 55 km / hr, gusting to 75 km / hr, and features stationary ", the National Water Commission (Conagua) said in a statement. 
Therefore dependence keeps watch in regions of Guerrero and Oaxaca where there is heavy rain; there will be heavy rain in Veracruz and Chiapas; very strong in the states of Mexico, Puebla and Morelos; strong in the Federal District, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala and Michoacán, while in Queretaro and Guanajuato will be less intense rains.
Conagua foresaw that Trudy gradually decrease your intensity as you approach the mountains of Guerrero, but during the next few hours will cause rains in central, east, south and southeast of the country, as well as high waves two to four feet high on the coasts of Oaxaca and Guerrero.  
While in the north, the frontal system number 8 in northern Chihuahua and Coahuila, cause heavy rains in Tamaulipas; strong in Nuevo Leon and San Luis Potosi and Coahuila lower intensity.
The cold air mass will favor a slight temperature drop in the north and northeast.
Meanwhile, the entry of moisture from the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, will cause heavy rains in Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo, and rain in Jalisco and Colima.
