If you have never seen a Blood Moon, tonight is your opportunity. A Blood Moon occurs when the Earth lines up between the Sun and the Moon casting a large shadow on the Moon. The rare sight makes the moon turn an ominous red-orange color, lit up by the Earth’s sunsets and sunrises. On the East coast this event will begin at 3:am tomorrow morning with totality around 5:15. In the West, it starts at 12:midnight, with totality around 2:15. This will be the last total lunar eclipse for 3 years. ENJOY, it is worth the viewing
