Corners of Oaxaca/Zipolite paradise of the Oaxacan coast

Within the attractions of the Corners of Oaxaca, and continuing our tour, there are, without a doubt, the beaches of Zipilite, in the coastal region and where a remarkable set of incomparable natural beauties is exhibited.
Since ancient times, this beach was visited by the Zapotecs, inhabitants of the high plains of the central valleys of Oaxaca, who have made it since then a place of ritual and even tourist attraction.
During the seventies, the Zipolite beach was rediscovered by young people of different nationalities, as a result of the eclipse of the sun, which they witnessed in Miahuatlán de Porfirio Díaz, who at that time were known as hippies and who found on these beaches, a great charm to live together with the few native inhabitants, thus giving rise to a town and a tourist development with peculiar characteristics.
Zipolite has been an ideal place for thousands of national tourists and from different parts of the world, such as the United States, Germany, France, Italy, among others. Many even stayed to live in this region.
Also in Zipolite, there is a high contact with nature, a great value for rustic and simple life, away from artificial comforts,
every year it is visited by national and international tourism, lovers of nature, freedom and peace. The nudism that characterizes this beach. in some areas, and in seasons of the year, it reflects and represents the attitude of freedom.
In the Ziploite community, houses and businesses are combined, run by local families, with very affordable costs and offer lodging services, restaurants, and many attractions to visit. An outstanding option, in Playa del Amor, is Lolas-Lino, at the foot of the beach and with a beautiful view, while in Roca Blanca, the best Posada San Cristóbal and on the hill, Shambhala shines, which in addition to offering services, It has a large conservation area and that I will shortly be spreading its environmental programs. The sunsets are spectacular and every day brings together a large number of people on the beach.
Near Zipolite, just three kilometers away, is Puerto Ángel, with its Principal and Panteón beaches, as well as Estacahuite, the Mexican turtle center, in Mazunte and the Ventanilla mangroves.
The natural riches of our state are part of the patrimony of the Oaxacans, unfortunately, little publicized by the authorities, let us learn to value and take care of our beaches, mangroves, which are our corners of Oaxaca.
