Inicia el 15 de noviembre Festival Internacional de Jazz Mazunte 2019 Inicio/ Cultura 17:48 13 de noviembre de 2019 Comunicado | Sectur OAXACA, Oax., 13 de noviembre de 2019.- La Secretaría de Turismo del Gobierno del Estado de Oaxaca (Sectur Oaxaca), en conjunto con autoridades municipales de Santa María Tonameca, anunciaron la décimo cuarta edición del Festival Internacional de Jazz Mazunte 2019. En un comunicado se informó que este evento que se ha colocado como uno de los encuentros artísticos más importantes a nivel nacional e internacional, se llevará a cabo del 15 al 17 de noviembre y tendrá lugar como cada año, en el Pueblo Mágico de Mazunte. El secretario de Turismo, Juan Carlos Rivera Castellanos, aseguró que este festival es importante para el desarrollo de la Costa oaxaqueña, el cual beneficia el crecimiento turístico y económico no sólo de Santa María Tonameca y El Mazunte en particular, sino de los municipios vecinos. Destacó que se espera una derrama económica de aproximadamente 6.5 millones de pesos y una ocupación hotelera del 100% en la comunidad de El Mazunte; y calculó que en promedio, entre el Pueblo Mágico y municipios cercanos se alcance una ocupación del 78%. La directora de Promoción Turística de la Sectur Oaxaca, Elizabeth Arredondo Ruíz, señaló que para la dependencia estatal es fundamental consolidarlo como un producto turístico de la región de la Costa, por ello se generó una estrategia de promoción a nivel nacional e internacional, apuntó. Detalló que el festival se difunde en las diferentes plataformas de la Sectur Oaxaca y a nivel nacional en coordinación con la Sectur Federal; así como en caravanas y eventos en los que el estado tiene presencia en el interior del país y el extranjero. En tanto, el presidente municipal de Santa María Tonameca, Hugo Castrejón Martínez, dijo que el Festival Internacional de Jazz Mazunte, también favorece a lugares como Puerto Escondido, Bahías de Huatulco, San Agustinillo, San Pedro Pochutla, Zipolite, entre otros. Castrejón Martínez externó el agradecimiento al Gobernador del estado Alejandro Murat Hinojosa por el respaldo para la realización de este festival e indicó que se trabaja de manera coordinada con los diferentes niveles de gobierno para garantizar la seguridad de las y los asistentes. El agente de Policía Municipal de la comunidad de El Mazunte, Demetrio Pacheco Matías, dio a conocer que el festival iniciará con una calenda tradicional el día 14 de noviembre y el día 15 se hará la inauguración oficial; además de la presentación de grupos musicales, habrá actividades deportivas y culturales, así como un escenario alterno en la playa el Rinconcito. Indicó que el escenario principal tendrá lugar en el campo de futbol de la comunidad, donde se presentarán agrupaciones como la Banda Mazunte, Los Músicos de José, Dueto Mazunte, Groove Colective, Carlos Mogue Trio, la Banda Femenil Regional Mujeres de Viento Florido, Los Pream, entre otros; también se hará un homenaje a Celso Piña con invitados como Rubén Albarrán de Café Tacvba, Alejandro Marcovich de Caifanes y más artistas.
