A modern railway through Central America could link Panama with Mexico by 2035
The railway project's leaders hope to spur economic growth and reduce migration pressures by modernizing cargo and travel corridors across Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
