I've been interested in visiting Zipolite, but I'm curious if there are quieter areas to book a place to stay. I'm not into all night circuit parties.

I recently read an article in the New York Times and they mentioned that there is a lot more loud nightlife. Is this activity concentrated in one area, or is it everywhere?

If you have any other tips, I'd appreciate reading them. I'm a middle aged gay male who wants a low key mid-winter beach vacation.
