Hola!
When I first started planning my move to Mexico City, I found it really difficult to find resources in English. It took a while to find the best books and websites that were helpful and not totally out of date.
These are the absolute best blogs, books, and guides that I could find and that I still sometimes use when I want to find something new.

- TimeOut Mexico City (If you don't speak Spanish, use Google Chrome and it will translate the website for you really well).
Like I mentioned the other day, I also love using Instagram as a way to find out what's new in the city, what restaurants to check out, and what cool local sites to explore. The best part is, photos require no language skills!
