Pochutla Market on Monday Nov 28th
I would like to take the bus to the market on the 28th, we are staying at the Castillo.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Cost of bus, where to catch- going & returning, frequency of buses.
Cab fare would be good to know for comparison to bus too.
Other activities within walking distance of the market.
Also looking for a local Huatulco orphange to donate childrens clothes.
Thank You

Buses leave the Ado bus station (near Soriana) every hour, I believe on the hour. Return every hour.
I forget the cost....but very reasonable. It would be best to go to the bus station and ask in person as the information I am giving you was from last year. As I recall a cab will cost four times the bus fare or more.
There is a church to visit and lots of little markets besides the larger one.

We got the bus to there in front of the Soriana, forget the cost but it's dirt cheap. Half the fun of going is the bus ride!

I've taken the bus once, it is quite the experience. all I know is it was about the same price as the taxi ride from our hotel,to the bus station. The second time we went we took a cab to the bus station and then shared a cab with 3 other people,to Pochutla. Last time we went my hubby wanted to take a taxi from our hotel to Pochutla. We negotiated a deal with him to stay with us all day for about a 1000 pesos. He waited for us while we were at the market and then took us to Zipolite and San Agustinillo.
