Chartered a deep sea fishing excursion this morning. Had a great time, caught 8 fish. On the way back we saw a pelican acting really weird. We moved in for a closer look. He had a fishing lure with two sets of treble hooks caught in his mouth and the other set in his wing.
He seemed to know we were going to help and didn't fight that much once we grabbed him and had him held down.
1) first pass, you can see the lure in this one
2) second pass, grabbed him.
3) let the procedure begin, wing first
4) now the mouth
5) bonus sunrise on our way out to the fishing grounds.
No freezing with the eagles this week
