When we arrived we had no idea, but there was a ´jazz´ music festival in Mazunte when, right on the beach! So my time in Mazunte consisted of, swimming and sunbathing in the day, having a couple of beers, some food and then watching some live music on the beach. I would hesitate to call it jazz though haha! Had a very funny couple of nights out chatting to musicians from all over. The best show was a wee lad from a town down the road, he was 8 and played guitar and sang with an adult band it was hilarious!

We stayed in an infamous hostel on the first night and then moved to a place on the beach so we had our own rooms with a fan and a double bed....how i´ve missed having my own room it was fab! One of the lads who worked there asked me every morning ´Sarita, bailar este moche?´ bless him, he must have been about 18 hahaha!

Met some lovely people here and bumped into some people we´d met already which is always a plus on the travelling trail. Spent about 5 days here and then headed inland on an overnight bus to San Cristobal.
