Construction of a gas station threatens to impact an area of great natural wealth in Zipolite

In 2018, residents of Zipolite organized ourselves concerned at the news of the construction of a gas station (on land that is surrounded by trees, wildlife and about 50 meters from a mangrove). In an attempt to save our community from more pollution and ecocides, a lawsuit was filed with the Ombudsman for Human Rights in Oaxaca, and was won.

Now, 4 years later, we are again faced with the same situation, since they are beginning to resume this construction, with the argument of being in pursuit of "progress", help us to stop this, we seek sustainable progress, one in which these resources are used for the good of the community building with a more ecological approach.
